Our Mission
Summit Safe Rooms exists to help homeowners make informed decisions about protecting what matters most. We are not a builder. We are not a manufacturer. We are an independent editorial team with deep expertise in residential security construction and products.
The residential security market is opaque. Pricing is hard to find. Spec sheets are confusing. Manufacturer claims are rarely verified by an independent source. We're here to change that.
We research, test, and compare the products that protect homes — vault doors, NBC air filtration, ballistic doors, ventilation systems, and biometric access — so you can buy with confidence.

Every product we review receives a Summit Score — a weighted 0-10 rating based on five critical evaluation criteria. Our scoring is transparent, consistent, and designed to help you compare products at a glance.

Certified ratings (UL, NIJ, FEMA), real-world performance
Price relative to protection level, features, and competition
Locks, access options, customization, smart features
Coverage length, claim process, manufacturer responsiveness
